Reset and recovery

Reset and recovery features are for local app recovery. They are not account deletion and they are not subscription cancellation.

If Pinwork cannot load the local database, it can show a database recovery screen.

This is an error recovery surface. It is not part of normal task management.

In production, Reset Local Data can appear only on the database recovery screen if the local store fails to load.

It deletes this device’s local store files so Pinwork can try to start from a clean local database.

If CloudKit is enabled and iCloud data exists, data may sync back after recovery.

Reset Local Data affects the current device’s local database.

It does not necessarily delete records from iCloud. If iCloud still has Pinwork records, they may download again after the local store is recreated and sync resumes.

Use Apple’s subscription management to cancel or manage subscriptions.

Pinwork cannot cancel an App Store subscription from a local data reset.
