Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Pinwork is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. The app does not collect, store, or transmit your task data. This policy explains what that means in practice, including the optional email form on this website.
Who Operates Pinwork
Pinwork is developed and operated by ADAPTING.TECH sp. z o.o., a limited liability company registered in Poland, which is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy. KRS 0000981725, NIP 7011097225, REGON 522601209. For privacy questions, contact support@pinwork.app.
Data Collection
Pinwork does not collect any app data. No tasks, projects, notes, usage analytics, crash reports, or device identifiers are sent from the app to us. The app runs entirely on your device.
Local Storage
All your tasks, projects, and settings are stored locally on your device using the system database. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.
iCloud Sync
If you choose to sync across devices, Pinwork uses Apple's private iCloud container (CloudKit). Your data is synced directly between your Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. We have no access to your iCloud data and cannot read, modify, or delete it. Apple's iCloud security and encryption policies apply.
Data Import
Pinwork can import tasks from Apple Reminders, Things, Todoist, and CSV files. All imports happen locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers during this process.
Third-Party Services
The Pinwork app does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks that collect data. This website uses PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how visitors interact with the landing page. PostHog collects visitor analytics such as pages viewed and referral source, and may collect session recordings to understand how visitors use the site. No data from the website is linked to your use of the Pinwork app.
Optional Email
If you choose to leave your email on the website, we use it for Pinwork beta, launch, and promo-code updates. The email may be stored in our Cloudflare database and in PostHog analytics, including the related session recording, so we can recover the address if a form submission has a technical issue. Leaving an email is optional and is not required to use the TestFlight beta.
If you send a question or feedback through the guide's "Ask" form, we use the email you provide solely to reply to you. These messages are stored so we can follow up, and they are never used for marketing.
Cookies & Tracking
The Pinwork app does not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any form of tracking. This website uses PostHog analytics to collect visitor data such as pages viewed, referral source, button clicks, optional email form activity, and session recordings. PostHog may use cookies for session identification. Browser privacy settings, content blockers, or network filters may limit or block website analytics.
No Accounts
Pinwork does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no server-side user profiles. Install the app and it works immediately.
Children's Privacy
Because Pinwork collects no data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date. If you left an email for beta or launch updates, we may use that email to notify you about material changes related to that list.
